MERGE SORT IN C PROGRAMMING:

   
           Merge sort is one of the most powerful sorting algorithm.It is widely used in various applications as it is very efficient with near optimal number of comparison.It uses divide and conquer technique.

EXPLANATION:

            In this algorithm an array will be split around its center to form  two smaller arrays and will be sorted independently. After sorting they will be merged to form a final sorted array.The process of
splitting and merging can be carried until one element is left in the array.
